Our mission

To help people develop knowledge and skills through learning that fits their goals, prior knowledge and available time.

To work towards this mission, we are developing Plasmida.ai, Plasma [Learn] and Plasma [Studio]. We study personalised learning, knowledge modelling and pedagogical AI agents.

We share our findings on our blog and in research publications.

    We design our products so that goals, pace and learning plans stay under the learner’s control and AI only suggests the next step.

    We want learners to see why a task, a review session or a career step was suggested and which data informed it.

  3. We collect data for a clear purpose

    Learning history, mistakes and personal plans deserve careful handling. People should know what is stored, who can access it and how to manage it.

  4. We show what our conclusions rest on

    We cite sources and research limitations, separate hypotheses from findings and welcome error reports.

  5. We support different ways of learning

    We design our products for people with different vision, hearing, mobility and perception needs, building in a choice of format and pace and support for assistive technologies.
